Susan Smith (MFHT)

My name is Susan Smith (MFHT) and I am a registered Sports and Holistic Massage Therapist. I have been working within this field of expertise for the last 9 years. As a keen sportswoman and an actively training Triathlete myself, I believe I am well equipped in my role to know what is right and best for my clients.

My treatments vary from sports massage to holistic treatment. My preference is to use hot stone therapy or warm bamboo massage because the benefits from the heat relieves muscle spasm, pain, tension and improves blood circulation and flow of energy. My holistic therapies include, Indian head massage, Reflexology, detox & cellulite reduction, Thai massage.  

My client base ranges from young teenage sport enthusiasts to the elderly and include athletes from all sports and levels of experience.  

Regular massage helps the prevention of or the recovery from an injury which in turn aids joint flexibility. For athletes in particular, I understand how massage supports muscle maintenance leading to improved performance and reducing persistent injury.

My years of experience mean I can deal with a wide range of physical issues which include sports injury, restrictive movement, joint pain, poor posture as well as helping with muscle rejuvenation.

I am always open to discuss the best massage to suit you and if necessary, can be adapted for your specific needs.
